A main road is being closed for maintenance works costing £194,000.
The B1077 Short Green in Winfarthing near Diss will be shut for five nights starting Monday, August 3, running from 7pm to 6am.
This closure will cover the area west of its junction with Hall Road to a point east of its junction with High London Lane.
The closure will enable resurfacing and overlay works, followed by the reinstatement of the existing road markings.
The improvement scheme is being carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Infrastructure Department and their contractors.
"Access to properties within the closure will be maintained throughout, although there may be unavoidable delays during this time," said a spokesman for the council.
"Operatives will be on site to manage any access issues in relation to the work.
"The County Council thanks people for their patience while this essential carriageway improvement work is carried out."
Also in Diss, an engineering project on Frenze Bridge will see 120m of ageing gas mains affecting Victoria Road and Diss Road replaced.
The work, which includes a road closure, is scheduled to last until July 31.
