A Norfolk-based retailer is in redundancy talks with its staff.
Mattressman, which has a dozen UK stores, has entered into a "formal consultation" with five members of staff.
Founded by managing director Andrew Kerry in 2004, Mattressman is the UK's largest online mattress retailer, employing more than 100 people.
Katherine Williams, Mattressman's operations director, said: "We are currently undertaking a formal consultation with five colleagues.
"As this consultation is ongoing, it would not be appropriate for us to comment further at this stage."
The firm began as an online retailer before opening its first store in North Walsham in 2004.
It now operates 12 UK stores, including in Norwich, Dereham, North Walsham and Thetford in Norfolk, and Lowestoft in Suffolk.
Mattressman stocks more than 8,000 mattresses, bed frames and bedding accessories.
