A man is in hospital after a major emergency response was launched to pull him from the River Wensum in Norwich.
The incident happened just before 10.15pm on Wednesday in the water at Riverside Road.
Police, two ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle, a response car from the East Anglian Air Ambulance, fire crews from Sprowston and Earlham, as well as the water rescue boat from Carrow, were called to the scene.
The adult man was rescued from the water by fire crews using a sled before being taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment.
Emergency services had left the scene by 10.50pm.
