Two men have been taken to hospital after a road rage incident.

Police were called to Stoke Road in Old Lakenham, just outside Norwich, shortly after 9am today following an altercation.

The driver suffered face injuries and was taken to hospital.

The pedestrian was also taken to hospital for precautionary reasons.

An eyewitness said: "I was driving to Norwich and saw a man lying injured in the road, who seemed to have been hit by a taxi."

Officers are carrying out enquiries to understand the full circumstances of the incident.
