A heat-health alert has been extended as another spell of hot weather will hit the region next week, with some areas expected to reach 30C.
The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has now extended its yellow alert from midday today, July 4 until Saturday, July 11 at 8pm in Norfolk.
It was originally due to end at 5pm on Wednesday.
The Met Office has forecasted that Thetford will reach 30C on Monday, while it will be around 29C in Diss and 28C in Norwich.
Those living on the coast can expect slightly cooler weather between 25C to 28C.
The yellow alert means that minor impacts are likely across health and social care services, including increased use of healthcare services by vulnerable people.
People have also been warned that water-related incidents may increase, including risks from cold water shock and drowning.
It follows the record-breaking temperatures in the county which recorded the hottest June day ever seen in the UK at the end of last month.
Lingwood near Norwich saw a peak of 37.6C on June 26, the highest temperature recorded in the country for June.
