An atmospheric acrylic painting of the Norfolk coast has carried off the Sponsor’s Choice Award at the Royal Norfolk Show art exhibition.
Sarah Long’s acrylic piece, Tidal Light, was selected by sponsor Arnolds Keys.
Nick Williams, managing partner at Arnolds Keys, said: "In an exhibition where the standard was again very high, Sarah’s painting stood out as a deeply atmospheric take on the traditional Norfolk landscape picture."
Ms Long, a self-taught artist and mindful art facilitator based at Earsham Hall near Bungay, discovered her passion for art during lockdown.
She said: "It offers me an essential space to reflect and reconnect, a place for free self-expression."
She now runs art courses and workshops and is "passionate about helping others unlock their own creative potential".
More than 350 works by Norfolk artists were showcased during the exhibition.
