A primary school has been shortlisted for a national education award.
The Albert Pye and Ravensmere Schools Federation operates both Albert Pye Primary School and Ravensmere Infant School in Beccles.
Now, the organisation is officially a finalist for the Network for Education Excellence (nEdEx) Primary School of the Year 2026 Award.
The federation has been recognised for its “exceptional commitment” to the education of its 416 pupils and has been praised for a curriculum that supports all aspects of development.
Louise Creed, headteacher of the federation, said: "We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for this nEdEx award.
"We are proud to create a sense of belonging and want the school to feel like a warm hug, every single day, for the children, their families and for our staff."
The school has achieved the Music Mark Award for its focus on music education and the Platinum Plus Safeguarding Award from Incyte International.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony in Milton Keynes in June.
Lynsey Holzer, chief executive officer of The Active Learning Trust, said: "The shortlisting is richly deserved."
