A bakery is supporting a children’s charity with a new cake created to make a difference.
Sponge, an online bakery retailer based in Holt, has teamed up with East Anglian charity Break to launch a strawberry sprinkle cake, with 20pc of each sale donated to the charity.
Ellie Middleton, partnerships manager at Break, said: "We’re absolutely delighted to be working with Sponge.
"Partnering with a local business that genuinely cares about the impact they can have means so much to Break, and their kindness, creativity and enthusiasm shines through in every conversation we have.
"We’re really grateful for their amazing support and are excited about what we can achieve together."
The cake features vanilla sponge, strawberry buttercream, jam, and colourful sprinkles, with a gluten-free option also available.
Natalie Douglas, director at Sponge, said: "When we thought about how we could support Break in a way that felt true to Sponge, this idea just made sense.
"Bake something brilliant, share it and give something back."
