Norfolk will be hotter than Ibiza as temperatures soar this weekend.

Several parts of the county will hit 20C on Saturday, including Norwich, Downham Market and Thetford.

Coastal towns such as Hunstanton, Cromer and Great Yarmouth will reach 18C.

This will make Norfolk comfortably warmer than the Spanish island of Ibiza, where it will only be 17C.

But it doesn't seem like this will last very long.

Conditions will cool by at least a few degrees by Sunday, with Downham Market dropping to 18C and Norwich to 15C.

In Cromer, it will only be 13C, with some cloud cover expected.

A Met Office spokeswoman said there will be a "risk of heavy showers" on Monday, with warm conditions in the day and "patchy frost" being possible overnight.

On Tuesday, the east of England will be "drier, but potentially cloudy and turning cooler".
