A town's post office has finally opened after months of delays.
The new Watton Post Office has opened its doors with a new convenience store in the former Boots shop in Chaston Place.
It opened on Wednesday after it was originally meant to be completed by March 4, with the former branch on the town's High Street scheduled to close for good on March 1.
However, these dates were pushed back by a further month with no reason given for the delay.
Local people were urged to use alternative post offices in Necton and Swaffham in the interim period.
The new site in Chaston Place features two serving points and will maintain its previous hours, with the addition of a travel money service.
The postmaster, who continues to run the site following the reopening, "firmly believes that the move will help secure continued access to Post Office services locally and support the viability of their business".
