All the animals that were once kept in a secret garden at a popular Norfolk attraction have found a new home.
The Secret Animal Garden at ROARR! has had its animals rehomed following the park’s decision to close the facility due to rising regulatory requirements tied to its zoo licence.
Adam Goymour, managing director of the park in Lenwade, said: "While it was a difficult decision to close the Secret Animal Garden, our absolute priority throughout has been the welfare of the animals.
"We’re delighted that each one has now found a new home where they will continue to receive excellent care.
"We know many of our visitors had a real affection for them, so we’re pleased to be able to share that they have all settled into environments that suit their needs."
Ernie the giant tortoise, along with lovebirds and corn snakes, has moved to Pettit’s Animal Adventure Park.
Clarice the iguana has settled into her new home at Amazona Zoo.
ROARR! also thanked the specialist keepers who supported the relocation process.
