A restaurant and café owner has celebrated the first year open with big plans for the future.
The Marketplace in Kenninghall near Diss was opened up by Karen Cummins last year as a café.
Then, in November, it was taken over by Emma Davies, who decided to make changes, including opening seven days a week.
She recently introduced evening dining to the eatery, after repeated requests from locals for somewhere to eat dinner out.
She hopes the venue will become a community hub for the village.
The restaurant now hosts regular bistro nights and themed evenings, with sharing plates, steak dinners and wine pairings becoming part of the experience.
"It's amazing. I could never have dreamed we would do so well," said Ms Davies.
"Word has been spread far by social media and we have even had people drive 45 minutes just to eat here."
Her main focus for the business going forward is to support the community with events such as a not-for-profit art club and a bereavement support group.
This arose from Ms Davies wanting to help people in similar situations after she lost her father at a young age.
"We hope that people coming to us will bring business elsewhere in the village," she added.
"I want to bring the best quality experience to people, especially as prices go up.
"We want to become a destination not just for locals but for people far and wide."
Ms Davies announced they will be revealing a new summer menu very soon, alongside a new wine list.
She said: "I just hope the next year goes as well as the winter did.
"It's been down to the work of our brilliant chefs and staff."
