A pub that sits on the Norfolk Broads has reopened its doors following a refurbishment.

The Swan can be found in Horning, which was previously named the most picturesque spot for a getaway on the Broads.

The venue closed for a remodel ahead of the summer season and visitors can now enjoy a pint or a bite to eat in the 150-cover dining room or one of two refreshed beer gardens.

The food menu features several new dishes, including slow-cooked pork belly, stone-baked pizzas and "signature skewers".

Pub classics, such as steak, fish and chips and a hearty home-baked pie of the day, are also available.

The eight bed and breakfast rooms upstairs have also had a makeover.

"We’re so pleased to open our doors and welcome guests old and new to see what we’ve been working on at The Swan," general manager, Una Green, said.

"It’s the same warm, friendly pub you know and love, just with a fresh feel.

"Whether you're after a cosy corner to unwind with a drink or a lovely spot to enjoy a hearty meal, we can’t wait to share it with you.

"We think The Swan is one of the most beautiful pubs in the country, but what sets us apart is our people.

"My team’s dedication to every guest is what makes each visit to us special."
