A farm shop on the outskirts of Norwich has won a major national award.

The Goat Shed in Honingham has taken home the Rising Star Award at the Farm Retail Awards.

The site has undergone a major rebrand and expansion in the last two years and has become a destination for those looking to shop, eat and meet the goats on site.

"We’re incredibly proud to share that we came home with the Rising Star Award," a spokesman for the business said.

"The award recognised some of the big steps we’ve taken recently, our farm shop expansion, rebrand and launching the Maize Maze, and it means the world to see the love, energy and passion our team pours into Goat Shed recognised with others in our industry.

"Behind every award, every busy weekend and every smiling photo is a family-run, independent business working incredibly hard every single day.

"We’re not perfect, and like so many small businesses right now, things aren’t always easy.

"Awards are lovely, but a busy shed full of our community is even better."
