Vauxhall Holiday Park on the edge of Great Yarmouth has been granted planning permission to replace pitches for 35 touring caravans with 31 static caravans, as well as demolish a toilet and shower block and build access roads within the site.
Planning officers at Great Yarmouth Borough Council said the proposal, which also includes the planting of 14 new trees, would "provide a high-quality form of tourist accommodation within a designated holiday accommodation area".
The plans had faced objections from five members of the public with concerns that the proposal would reduce the provision of touring caravan pitches on the site.

The planning permission comes after Parkdean Resorts announced it is investing £5m in the park.
This will pay for a new sports bar and activities such as indoor adventure golf, interactive Bear Grylls escape rooms, and expanding the resort's indoor and outdoor Tots Zones play areas for toddlers.
Vauxhall Holiday Park was built in 1964 and run by the Biss family until it was sold to Parkdean in 2016.
