A city councillor under investigation for an online rant sparked after a Green colleague was accused of shouting "Nazis" at a group of women has been left in limbo over whether he will face any sanctions.
Alex Catt, the former leader of the Norwich Green group, was due to go before a panel at a standards hearing this week, over claims he had breached the code of conduct for posts he made on social media.
But he will have to wait to learn of his fate after the meeting was postponed.
Mr Catt got in trouble after accusing Labour councillors of "fuelling a transphobic campaign" against Charlie Caine, a transman and Green councillor.
His posts on social media came at the height of the 'Nazigate' scandal, in which councillor Caine faced intense scrutiny for allegedly calling a group of women who were holding a vigil for Afghan women outside the Forum in the city "Nazis".
Norwich's Labour group accused councillor Catt of making "slanderous" comments against them, prompting a 10-month investigation into his comments.
A standards committee meeting is due to take place but Norwich City Council says it has not rescheduled the meeting currently.
