Free, personalised poems are being written on the spot by a resident poet.
King’s Lynn wordsmith Savannah Andrews is creating bespoke verses for the public every Saturday and Sunday at the Purfleet Story Pod from 12pm to 2.30pm throughout January.
Free poems are written in real-time in the window of the shipping container at the prompt of a word, memory or feeling.
James Goodman-Stephens from the Margery Kempe Trust said: "January can feel like a long, grey month.
"Thanks to the support of West Norfolk Council, we’re keeping the Purfleet Story Pod open into the new year.
"We want to keep a spark of imagination alive on King’s Lynn’s high street.
"Seeing a writer at work reminds us that creativity is a practice, not some mysterious magic trick.
"We hope that seeing the process in action, and receiving a free, personal poem, will inspire the people of King’s Lynn to embrace their own creativity in 2026."
The trust is continuing its residency at the pod throughout January with its themed project, 'Slow You Down'.
