Around 400 tanker drivers working for the UK's largest fuel distribution company with depots across Norfolk and Suffolk will go on strike over Christmas and into the New Year.
Certas drivers delivering petrol and diesel to forecourts across the country will walk out in a dispute over pay on December 22 and on two separate weeks in January.
The Unite union warns it will cause "severe disruption" to the company's clients and the fuel supply.
Certas has more than 85 UK depots, including Norwich, Long Stratton and King's Lynn in Norfolk, and Ipswich and Sudbury in Suffolk.
It delivers fuel to 800 forecourts nationwide as well as domestic heating fuel to people's homes.
Warrington-based Certas has 900 tankers and more than 2,000 employees, with its clients including Gulf, Shell and Royal Mail.
Tanker drivers are striking over a 2pc pay offer, which they say is a real terms pay cut with the current rate of inflation running at 4.3 per cent.
Unite national officer Tony Devlin said: “The strikes will inevitably cause severe disruption for Certas’ clients, but this is entirely the fault of the company for offering a pay cut dressed up as a rise.
"There is still time to avoid industrial action but that will require a pay offer that is acceptable to our members.”
They will strike on December 22, from January 5 to 11, and 19 to 25. Workers and the union warn industrial action will intensify if the dispute is not resolved.
Unite general secretary Sharon Graham said: “Certas drivers don’t expect to be treated like royalty, but they do expect a fair pay rise from their employer.
"Unite is backing them all the way during their strikes for a reasonable pay increase.”
A Certas Energy spokesperson said: "Drivers have been offered a generous, above-inflation pay and conditions offer.
"The offer was made in recognition of the important role our fuel delivery drivers play in delivering to our customers across the country. Certas Energy remain engaged with Unite to achieve a swift resolution.
"Customers should be reassured that in the event of industrial strike action, Certas Energy has steps in place to mitigate impact and to minimise any potential disruption to customers."
