A clubhouse's plans to open late into the night have sparked fears that trouble could return to a holiday park in a Norfolk town.
Broadside Clubhouse has applied to North Norfolk District Council for a new premises license which would extend its operating hours to 24 hours a day, Monday to Sunday.
However, people living nearby and at the Broadside Chalet Park in Stalham, where the venue operates, have objected to the proposal.
They have said when the clubhouse has opened late into the night previously, it attracted problems with people using the surrounding roads as a "race track", noise and vandalism.
The problems led to the later hours being rescinded, according to locals.
Christina Phillippo, who lives near the park, said in a letter to the council: "Having experienced this in the past, you can understand my apprehension.
"After these incidents, the clubhouse was for the chalet owners' use only for a while."
Another objector, Nicola Davies, said: "This will change the clubhouse into a venue for late-night drinking. This is not in keeping with the family values and ethos of the area."
She worried the new hours would mean noisy drinkers would be "unavoidable" and feared this would lead to people being disturbed at night.
However, Norfolk Police has not objected to the proposals.
David Buchanan, the owner of the clubhouse, has defended the move.
In his application, he says the extended hours are to allow the venue to serve alcohol to customers visiting for breakfast "if needed".
He said entertainment at the venue will normally finish by 11pm but has requested an extra hour's leeway "to give us some flexibility".
He also promised to work "hand in hand" with local authorities to ensure the business complies with all of its licensing conditions.
Broadside Clubhouse will face councillors on Tuesday, June 24, when members of the licensing committee will meet to decide whether or not to grant approval for the application.
