A north Norfolk beach has once again been named one of the best in the country.

Time Out Magazine has shared its list of the 39 best beaches to visit across the UK this year.

Holkham ranked 1st overall and was named the top spot to feel "a million miles away from civilisation".

Travel writers for the magazine said: "Easily one of the best-looking beaches in the UK, Holkham would be flooded with visitors if it were just that little bit closer to London – or, like, anywhere.

The magazine recommended staying at the "perfectly polished" Victoria Inn.

With 20 rooms on offer, the establishment brings guests a "posh-contemporary feel" that is within walking distance of the sandy beach.
