A church is set to host a series of events to brighten winter days.
Thorpe Market Church is inviting people to its Snowdrop Sundays on February 2, 9, 16, and 23 from 12pm to 4pm.
The church, which promises a warm welcome and parking, is hoping to provide a lift in spirits during the long winter months.
Visitors can enjoy an art exhibition featuring different artists each weekend, browse second-hand books, and enjoy refreshments and homemade cakes.
A stroll around the churchyard will give visitors a chance to see the display of snowdrops, an early sign of spring.
The first weekend will feature artists Julie Brooks and Idris Walters, who will showcase their work from 11am to 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
Their styles, inspired by the landscapes and seascapes of North Norfolk, will include paintings, pastels, prints, and cards for sale.
On the second weekend, Amanda Springall-Rogers will exhibit her work alongside two other painters and a textile artist.
Ms Springall-Roger's creations reflect the detail and beauty of the natural world.
The following weekend will see Rosalie Osborne-Gibb, a regular exhibitor at St Margaret’s, showcasing her art.
Drawing inspiration from the coast and countryside, her work will range from wildlife and landscapes to surf and sunsets.
The final weekend will feature East Coast Artz, a collective of local artists known for their diverse range of paintings, prints, cards, textiles, crafts, and driftwood sculptures.
David Wright will also display his wire sculptures, some of which will be placed in the churchyard.
Musical interludes will be provided by Alan Morris on the church’s Norwich organ, with the possibility of a guest singer.
The Snowdrop Sundays event offers a chance to appreciate art, enjoy homemade refreshments, and witness nature’s early bloom, all within Thorpe Market Church.
