Three cathedral choirs have launched a nine day music festival.
Norwich, Ely and Peterborough cathedral choirs opened the Organ Reborn 2024 Festival at Norwich Cathedral on Saturday.
The festival showcases the recently rebuilt pipe organ after a £1.8m revamp.
The East Anglian Cathedral Choirs performed Handel, Mozart, Rutter and others.
Ashley Grote, the cathedral's master of music, said: “It was thrilling to begin our festival with the sound of more than 120 singers from three cathedral choirs performing together."
Prominent groups including the BBC Singers and the Britten Sinfonia are performing at the week-long festival.
BBC Singers are set to perform a mix of compositions by East Anglian composer Benjamin Britten on Thursday.
Britten Sinfonia will collaborate with Norwich Cathedral Choir for a special concert featuring the music of Faure, Poulenc and Durufle in the festival's finale on Saturday.
However, families can enjoy the free Battle of the Organs concert featuring Norwich Cathedral's three organists at 11am on the same day.
Attendees can also travel back in time with a silent movie on Wednesday, accompanied by the Leicester Square Odeon organist Donald MacKenzie's music.
The festival, made possible by the benevolent support of The Statham Society, ends on Sunday and will also take to national airwaves with three live broadcasts on BBC Radio Three.
