Two men and a teenager are set to be sentenced for firearms offences following an attempted armed burglary at a property in the centre of Norwich in broad daylight. 

Four people with knives attempted to break into an address on Music House Lane at around 2.10pm on October 17 last year.

The shocking incident saw police appeal for CCTV and witnesses to come forward as part of an extensive investigation.

Nile Mustafa, 29, of Rosary Road, was arrested in connection with it on November 17.

Officers who searched his home seized a firearm, ammunition and cash.

He was subsequently charged with and admitted attempted aggravated burglary, possession of an imitation firearm, two counts of possession of a firearm, possession of criminal property and possession of ammunition. 

He will be sentenced on June 14.

Ricardo Monteiro, 20, of Heathgate, Norwich, will be sentenced on the same date for attempted aggravated burglary and possession of an imitation firearm. 

Also due to be sentenced for attempted aggravated burglary and possession of an imitation firearm is a 17-year-old who has been remanded into local authority care.
