A man in his 30s who died on Easter Monday following a crash on the A47 in the west of the county has been identified.
Nathan Chenery, 34, died on Monday, April 1, after his Suzuki Jimny 4x4 crashed with a white Mercedes HGV at Terrington St John, near King's Lynn.
Seven weeks on, an inquest into his death has been opened at Norfolk Coroner's Court.
During the short hearing, senior coroner Jacqueline Lake confirmed Mr Chenery was born in King's Lynn and lived in the town.
He had celebrated his 34th birthday four days earlier, on March 27.
Mrs Lake added that the medical cause of his death had been provided to the court as multiple traumatic injuries due to a road traffic collision.
The crash happened at around 10.15am on Easter Monday and saw the road closed for several hours between the A17 junction and the B198, near Wisbech.
The coroner adjourned the case until November 1.
