Two men have been charged after armed police were called to reports of people carrying knives.
Officers were sent to Cromer Road just before 10am on Tuesday and arrested two men on suspicion of possession of a bladed article.
They were taken to Aylsham Police Station for questioning.
Jake Midgely, 26, and Joseph Kerr, 27, both of Cromer Road, Norwich, were charged with possession of a bladed article.
They were released on bail to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court on June 25.
