A woman has been taken to hospital after suffering a fall in the city centre this morning.
Police and ambulance crews were called to Cattle Market Street, outside The Loving Hut, at around 7.30am.
They had received reports of a woman who had collapsed on the side of the road.
A team of nurses pulled over to assist and got further help.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called at approximately 7.20am this morning to attend to a woman who had suffered a fall in Norwich.
“An ambulance was sent to the scene and the patient was transported to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further care.”
