A BAFTA-winning Hollywood star is making her way to the Norfolk coast as a Comic-Con prepares for a bumper weekend.
Sophia Myles - famed for her appearances in Doctor Who, Transformers: Age of Extinction and the Underworld series - will be appearing at the Great Yarmouth Comic Con on June 1 and 2.
The Hollywood actress will be appearing at Great Yarmouth Racecourse, alongside the likes of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' Nick Moran, Bond Girl Caroline Munro and TikTok teacher Tommy T.
The organisers have said Sophia Myles' Q and A session "will be amazing" as her 25-year career has shared the screen with some of the biggest names in show business. The actress has also appeared in some of the UK's best-loved comedies, including the Bottom spinoff film Guesthouse Paradiso and the BBC comedy Extras.
"We are extremely pleased to announce BAFTA award-winning actress Sophia Myles will be attending Great Yarmouth Comic Con 2024," organisers Phil and Karen Welsby said.
"Sophia has a long list of lead and main roles in some of the biggest movie franchises and TV shows. She has co-starred with some of the biggest names in movies.
"Those planning on meeting anyone will be in for a real treat as these guests are genuinely looking forward to meeting their fans and having a chat."
The organisers added that being a smaller Comic Con event, fans have more time to chat with the guest stars, as well as taking a selfie and having autographs signed.
At the end of last year, fans of the event were dismayed after Out There Arts revealed their 2024 festival would take place over the same weekend as the Comic Con.
Tickets are available at Candy World in Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, Leanne's Anime and Collectibles in Gorleston and Beaches and Cream in Southwold.
