An Albanian man who came to the UK on a fake Italian passport was part of a gang who brought kilos of cocaine into Norwich.

Adrian Malga, 33, was part of a crime gang which flooded the city with “kilos and kilos” of drugs before being arrested in 2014.

Norwich Crown Court was told he had entered the country with a passport bearing the alias Giovanni De Luca and this had then been used to rent two properties used to cut huge quantities of cocaine.

Malga, from Putney in London, has admitted being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

Prosecutors said he had “close links” to the operation and was seen entering one property on three occasions with his fingerprints found on the drug containers.

After being released on bail in 2014 he had disappeared but was rearrested in 2023. He was remanded in custody until he is sentenced on May 30.

His fellow gang members have already been sentenced to more than 27 years.
