A jam-packed festival is coming to a Norfolk town this summer.

On July 6, the Salhouse Community Events team are hosting a Summer Festival with live music, food and craft stalls and activities for kids.

Salhouse Summer Festival will take place from 12pm to 9pm at the recreation ground in Thieves Lane.

Graham Johnston, a spokesman for the event, said: "We can't wait to put on a big show.

"We've already had more than 2,500 people interested on Facebook, which is incredible. 

"There'll be a bar run by the guys at Redwell Brewery, selling their amazing beer, loads of food and craft stalls, a couple of bouncy castles for the kids.

"And we'll be running a Prosecco bar to help pay for next year's event!"

The event will be completely free to enter, only requesting contributions for parking. 

The event will be dog friendly and there will be a small fee for some activities such as entry to the bouncy castle.
