From fresh produce to artisan gin, sample and buy local delights at these food and drink festivals that are taking place in Norfolk this May. 

1. The Sandringham Craft, Food & Wood Festival 

Where: Sandringham Estate PE25 6EN

When: May 4 to 6, 10am until 6pm

Price: £13 for adults with concessions available 

This dog-friendly annual event will return to the Royal Estate for the early May bank holiday weekend.

Visitors can enjoy cooking demonstrations from top chefs including Phil Vickery, Galton Blackiston and Jean Christophe-Novelli. 

​The food halls will host a large selection of local and national food and drink producers and The Piazza will have a food court with a bar and street food traders, as well as live jazz and folk music.

Where: Watton Sports Centre, Watton, IP25 6EZ

When: May 4 from 10am until 5pm

Price: Free entry

The Watton Food Festival will take place outside the town's sports centre with free entry and parking. 

Organised by Apollo Events, attendees can expect around 20 stalls from local food and drink businesses including Norfolk Rum and M&M Sweet Treat. 

10 street food traders will also be pitching up including The Bucket List, Dirty Fryer Boys and Sweet Truth Donuts.

There will be live music, inflatables and face painting. 

Eastern Daily Press: 3. Reepham Food Festival

Where: Market Place, Reepham, NR10 4JJ 

When: May 26, 10am until 4pm

Price: Free entry 

Organised by the Reepham and District Rotary Club, the Reepham Food Festival will return to the main square on May 26 where up to 30 independent sellers will be offering local products.

Last year saw a wide range of Norfolk producers attend, including Barsham Brewery, Bakeaholics, Walnut Tree Distillery and Bread Source.

There will be musical entertainment from Reepham High School students and pubs and cafes will also be open in the square.
