A former pub that has been transformed into a five-bedroom house is on the market for nearly £900,000.

Blake House was once a derelict pub known as The Cock but it is now a luxury home by the river in Long John Hill in Old Lakenham.

Benjamin Blake was recorded as a licensee as far back as 1760 and it remained a pub until 2015.

Work started in 2021 to transform the building into a luxury home.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a living room with French doors that open out on to the patio and elsewhere on the ground floor is a bedroom, shower room and utility room.

"Steps lead down to the front door, while the rear boasts a spacious terrace, lawn and a magnificent Willow Tree, all bordered by post and rail fencing.
