A woman has been left fuming with Ryanair after her holiday plans were disrupted by her flight being rescheduled three times.

Claire Grange, who lives and works in Norwich, was booked to fly to Faro at 6.40pm on Friday, May 10 from the city's airport as part of its new services, also flying to Alicante and Malta.

But just weeks before flying out, she was told it had been brought forward by two hours and 20 minutes, to 4.20pm, and then pushed back to 8pm.

That means Claire and her family would land in Faro at 11pm, meaning they would miss their onward travel bookings.

The 32-year-old communications manager said: "The changes completely mess up our plans for a hire car and getting to our hotel.

"And then last week I received an email saying the time had changed again to 7.55pm, five minutes earlier.

"That's three flight changes with no explanation, two within just over three weeks of the departure date."

In response, a Ryanair spokesman said: "Due to routine schedule adjustments, the Norwich to Faro flight was moved to a slightly later departure time.

"This passenger was notified by email and advised of her options to either accept the flight time change or change flight free of charge, from which she chose to accept the flight time change."

But Claire discovered she was not alone in her irritation, finding a post on a Facebook group with similar complaints.

She added: "Ryanair has said people can change the date of the flight free of charge but with them only flying twice a week, it's not really an option.

"It's a great thing for us to have these local flights but not when the plans keep changing.

"I keep dreading another email to see the flight has changed to a totally different time, disrupting our plans all over again."
