The search for a "very vulnerable" missing man has met a tragic end after he was found on Saturday.

Mitch Thornton, of Thurlby Road, Bowthorpe went missing on Tuesday.

The University of Law graduate who studied at UEA was not heard from after sending a text message to his mum Maxine Frost about a re-scheduled job interview at 9.47am on Tuesday.

After replying to his message, Mrs Frost did not hear from her 24-year-old son.

After being reported missing later that day, searches were going on throughout this week but came to an end on Saturday.

Mum Maxine posted on Facebook on Sunday morning saying: "It is with great sadness to let you all know that Mitch Thornton was found yesterday.
