An asylum seeker being housed in a Norwich hotel has been charged with an attack on another man.
Husain Hasan, 24, failed to appear for a hearing at Norwich Magistrates’ Court where he had been expected to enter a plea to assault by beating.
The charge relates to an incident said to have occurred at the Best Western in Bowthorpe on March 13.
The court was told he has since been moved to a hotel in Peterborough.
His case was adjourned until April 16.
