A mother-of-four is launching a new series of pop-up markets to showcase local businesses.

Catering company Bonnie BonBons based in Coltishall is hosting the events at Tithe Barn in Horstead from April to December.

Each market will include around 20 stalls fronted by small independent businesses and local crafters.

Bonnie Earl set up her catering company last year with the support of her husband Darren and has decided to expand into running local village markets.

"There wasn't anything locally so we decided to take it upon ourselves to start one just down the road, from April we're going to do them for the rest of the year and then hopefully carry on into next year,” Mrs Earl said.

"We thought it would be lovely to have something once a month where people can come and get all their gifts, have a cup of tea and a piece of cake.”

Refreshments will be served from a hatch in the barn and children's activities will also be available.

Mrs Earl added: "Everyone has been really supportive, more than you could ever imagine.”
