A Victory in Europe (VE) Day wreath-laying ceremony is set to take place in Great Yarmouth.
The commemorative event, scheduled for May 8, offers an opportunity for people living in the area to honour the end of the fighting in Europe during the Second World War.
The ceremony will occur at the town's Second World War Memorial in St George’s Park, with a two-minute silence preceding the wreath-laying portion.
The Mayor of Great Yarmouth, Councillor Penny Carpenter, will lay the wreath on behalf of the borough and members of the Royal British Legion will also participate in laying a wreath.

Attendees are welcome to lay a wreath and are advised to arrive five minutes before the 11am start.
The annual event draws attention to the sacrifices made during the war and the resilience exhibited by the war generation and offers people the chance to remember and thank the wartime heroes.
VE Day, or Victory in Europe Day, marks the 1945 surrender of Germany, ending the devastating six-year conflict which saw millions of lives lost.
