A family-run fruit and vegetable shop will close its doors in north Norfolk at the end of the month.

John and Nicola Redfield launched Redfield's Fruit and Vegetables in North Walsham's Market Street last August.

At the start of this year, they opened TJ Blends, a sister business based in the same premises, which used Redfield's produce to create bubble teas, smoothies and lemon blends.

But over the weekend, Mr and Mrs Redfield announced the shop would close at the end of April due to "developing family commitments".

They assured customers they would continue running their stalls at events and markets and said their delivery service would also still be available.

The full statement, shared on social media, said: "Due to developing family commitments we are having to close the shop at the end of the month.

"With markets, events, deliveries and a shop something has had to give to ensure we can still offer a great service.

"We are still attending all events and markets and still offering our great value delivery service.

"We would like to take the time to thank North Walsham for welcoming us into the community and would like to remind you all this is not goodbye."
