A beloved heritage railway will mark the 60th anniversary since the lines original closure with a special diesel and steam service.
North Norfolk Railway's Poppy Line re-traces the route by the Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway that closed six decades ago - before being taken up by enthusiasts.
The celebrations include a special service this weekend (April 6 and 7) allowing passengers to ride trains similar to those that ran just before the closure on April 6, 1964.
The special timetable features a railcar made up of Class 104 and 101 vehicles dating from the 1950s - both were regulars in East Anglia.

A 1961 Class 31 diesel, D5631, will also be running the line - the train was previously based in Norwich with a trip to Melton Constable, matching the types that previously worked on the north Norfolk line.
The majority of the former network closed in 1959, with the section in Norfolk surviving after the introduction of more modern diesel engines.
However, when passenger numbers fell the line was axed just four years later.
