A Norwich student who died at home was found by a housemate just 10 days before Christmas, a court has heard.
The body of 20-year-old Hayden Fitzpatrick was discovered last year on the evening of December inside a house on Neville Street, off Unthank Road.
An inquest into her death was opened at Norfolk Coroner’s Court, based at County Hall in Norwich, on April 2.
Area coroner Yvonne Blake confirmed the medical cause of death had been “paracetamol poisoning” due to low body weight.
Miss Fitzpatrick’s father, James Fitzpatrick, told the court via a statement to a coroner’s officer that his daughter was born on September 8, 2003, in Glasgow, Scotland.
A full inquest to determine the official cause of death will take place at the court on September 18.
