A famous actor and presenter is heading to Norfolk and Suffolk as part of his UK tour later this year.

John Barrowman, known for his Doctor Who and Torchwood roles, will be performing around the country on a 17-date concert tour with plans to take the stage throughout October and November.

John Barrowman Laid Bare is an "unwavering and uncensored" show which will be an intimate look at the 57-year-old's life and career through his love of song and story, with tickets on sale from 5pm on Monday.

The Glasgown-born performer, who was raised in the US, will appear at the Alive Corn Exchange in King's Lynn on Friday, October 25 and at Lowestoft's Marina Theatre on Thursday, October 31.

Barrowman has spoken in recent years of his "exuberant behaviour" after accusations of inappropriate behaviour, including exposing himself, emerged and the BBC confirmed he had been reprimanded in 2008.

A 2021 statement insisted that "with the benefit of hindsight" his "understanding and behaviour had changed", insisting it was not sexually motivated but related to "high-spirited behaviour which was only ever intended in good humour".

A 2023 tour was cancelled due to poor ticket sales but now Barrowman is giving life on the road another try.
