A newspaper boss and director of a major free music festival has been charged with assault and controlling behaviour.
Alan Taylor, 53, of Wimpole Drive, King's Lynn, has been charged with one count of assault by beating in Lynn on October 29, 2023 and one count of engaging in coercive and controlling behaviour between January 1, 2020 and October 29, 2023.
He has been released on police bail to appear at King’s Lynn Magistrates Court on April 25.

He has been a director of the Festival Too Trust, which organises a major free music festival in Lynn each summer since 2013 and was the event's chair for a number of years.
