The King's estate in Norfolk will not host its sell-out music festival this year to allow organisers time to book major acts.

The Sandringham Estate hosted the county's first Heritage Live event last August where artists including Robbie Williams, Van Morrison and The Who performed to tens of thousands of fans.

Around the same time, it was announced that Heritage Live, which organises gigs at stately homes across the UK, was awarded a five-year deal to hold concerts at the estate.

But it has been revealed that the next event will not be held until next year.

According to Heritage Live, which also speaks on behalf of the Sandringham Estate, this is to allow organisers time to book musical acts of the same "calibre" which played last year.

A spokesman said: "Following the success of the 2023 concerts, Heritage Live concerts will become an exciting event in the diary at the Sandringham Estate.

"It's been agreed to begin these in August 2025, allowing the organisers sufficient time to ensure the estate is included within the touring calendars of major international artists, which are typically planned 12 to 18 months in advance.

"Heritage Live is committed to building on the success of 2023 so look out for some major announcements in the autumn and mark August 2025 in your diaries."
