Limited spaces remain for teams to take part in Norwich Dragon Boat Race.

The inaugural event, organised by Brave Futures, is scheduled for April 27.

This first of the charity races, held in Riverside, will commence at 10am, led by the Sheriff of Norwich.

More than 10 teams, including city businesses like Howes Percival, Smith and Pinching and event sponsors Larking Gowen have already registered.

With only three team positions remaining, the goal is to completely sell out the event.

Organisers promise the race will offer 'exhilaration', a team building experience, and the opportunity to win a trophy.

The whole day line-up includes several race heats, building up to a grand finale.

The Lord Mayor of Norwich will conclude the day's activities by awarding medals to the winning team.

Brave Futures supports children in Norwich and the surrounding areas who have been victims of sexual abuse.

With an estimated 16,000 children in Norfolk requiring the charity's assistance, the Dragon Boat Race helps to ensure that services can expand and remain accessible.
