A city junction is set to close next week for £26,000 resurfacing works.

The junction of The Avenues and Christchurch Road, close to Colman Road, will be shut off to through traffic for two days from March 25.

The old, worn road surface will be removed and replaced with a new asphalt surface.

A signed diversion route will be in place, redirecting traffic via Colman Road, Earlham Road, Jessopp Road and Recreation Road.

The work will cost £26,000 and will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and its contractors.
