A busy road through a key link town will see four days of closures later this month. 

The A140 in Long Stratton is being repaired in sections by council highways teams from March 25 to March 29. 

The four separate sections will be worked on in phases across four nights, with workers beginning at 8.15pm and finishing at 6am.

This will affect The Street from its junctions with Hill Farm Road, Ice House Court, Flowerpot Lane and White House Drive.

Each section of the road will see 10 to 30 metres of road surface replaced and repaired. 

Access for homeowners and businesses will be provided while the repairs are under way. 

In the event of the start date being delayed due to poor weather, the new start date will be displayed on-site in advance.
