The closure of a popular discount shop in the city centre has been confirmed.
The Poundland store at 48-54 St Stephens Street has been confirmed as closed as signage went up in its windows over the weekend.

The closure comes as the national chain moves into bigger premises at 23-29 St Stephens Street where it is set to open on March 30.
British Home Stores (BHS) left the site in August 2016 as the department store went into administration and disappeared from the high street.
Poundland has said, once completed, the new shop at 23-29 St Stephens Street will be one of the largest in the country.
The value retailer's shops in Castle Quarter and Anglia Square remain open.
