Some of Norwich City’s top players have worked with the club’s supporters to give a local charity a major boost.
Fan channel Talk Norwich City (TNC) was donated signed items by players including Angus Gunn and Ashley Barnes for their Ultimate Raffle in aid of the Big C.
TNC founders and good friends Jack Reeve and Chris Reeve both have personal motivations after losing loved ones to cancer and have raised huge amounts for Big C in recent years.
The raffle has raised £7,794, adding to the £20,000 raised by TNC’s 24-hour watchalong in April 2021.
“The kindness and generosity of everyone has made me very emotional,” said Chris.
“I’ve experienced the positive difference that the Big C Cancer Charity has made first-hand, so this really does mean the absolute world.

“I am so proud that we continue to use the Talk Norwich City platform we’ve built over the years for good.”
The Ultimate Raffle included signed shirts, boots and gloves donated by Canaries players, with Kenny McLean, Jonny Rowe and Ben Gibson among the other players to get involved – with Onel Hernandez helping to organise delivery of some of the items.
The idea was formed following the huge success of a previous raffle ran for the Big C, for a Gabriel Sara signed shirt, which raised almost £3,000.

There were also bonus auctions, including former City star Todd Cantwell donating a signed Rangers shirt and a signed Norwich shirt from USA striker Josh Sargent.
Big C spokesman Tom Holmes said: “We are totally blown away by the incredible support we have received from Chris, Jack and the Norwich City fanbase.
“The Ultimate Norwich City Raffle was another huge success and a testament to how hard Chris and Jack work to support the charity.”
