A car owner woke up to find a hole in their car windscreen which police believe was caused by a pellet gun.

Officers have confirmed they are investigating the cause of the "pellet-sized hole" as an incident of criminal damage.

The car was parked in Sculthorpe Avenue in West Lynn and is thought to have been shot between 11.15pm on February 29 and 5.15am on March 1.
