A long-established Norwich restaurant has closed its doors. 

Mambo Jambo, in Lower Goat Lane, described itself as a 'Mexican, Latino and South American restaurant, with a fantastic party atmosphere'.

The restaurant had been open for more than 25 years and was popular among locals.

According to Companies House, the business filed for voluntary liquidation late last year. 

Attempts to contact Mambo Jambo's management have been unsuccessful.

It has been listed as permanently closed on Google and customers have discussed the closure online. 

There is currently not a notice on its door informing customers of the news and no statement has yet been issued via the business's social media accounts.
