Felix up for adoption at Safe Rescue for Dogs in Norfolk

Felix is an 18-month-old crossbreed who is currently in the foster care of rescue charity Safe Rescue for Dogs in Wymondham.

The charity met Felix in March last year after they visited the Botosani public shelter in Romania and found him "skeletal, filthy and terrified".

Felix faced starvation in the Romanian shelter and was "painfully thin", suffering from near-death violent attacks from other dogs including his siblings who wouldn't allow him to eat.

When he arrived in Norfolk the charity claimed "he was terrified of the prospect of human touch" and spent his first days trying to avoid people. 

Felix the dog is looking for a forever home in Norfolk (Image: Safe Rescue for Dogs)Despite his poor start in life, Felix is now "a confident and affectionate dog" and the charity describes him as "a cheeky, comical and fun-loving boy who is ready to look for his new home".

He is happy living with other dogs and with children aged eight and over, but has not yet been cat-tested.
